This year's Garden City Belmont festival will once again feature a children's poster contest

Garden City Belmont Festival 5th Annual

CHILDREN'S POSTER CONTEST

sponsored by Sunflower Fine Art & Framing

The 5th annual poster design challenge will invite Garden City kids in grades K - Sixth grades to create their best interpretation of thoroughbred racing on 16" x 20" white poster paper. No pastels please.

All submitted artwork will be on display in shop windows along the Festival route on 7th and Franklin Ave.

Locations of each poster will be posted on sunflowerfineart.com June 10th.
Winners will be awarded CASH prizes and be presented the awards on stage by the Mayor that evening!

Poster designs will be accepted at Sunflower Art & Frame until Wednesday June 1 at 5pm. The first, second and third place winners of the contest will be announced on sunflowerfineart.com June 6th.

Winners photos will also appear in GC News!

RULES

• Participants must be residents of Garden City
• Open to students grades k-6
• Submissions should be images of Thoroughbred Racing on heavy white poster paper 16"x20" (NO pastels please)
• Student's printed name, age, grade and school on back (office use only)
• Posters must be picked up from participating shops by 6/12/10

All posters must be Hand Submitted by 5PM
by Wednesday June 1 to :
